AFIAS Strep A is a fluorescence immunoassay (FIA) for the qualitative determination of Group A Streptococcus (Strep A) in human throat swabs. It is useful as an aid in the management and monitoring of Group A Streptococcus infection. For in vitro diagnostic use only.

The AFIAS testing device automatically calculates the test result and displays it as "Positive" or "Negative".

The result is invalid. The test must be repeated.
